Information You Provide. We receive and store information you enter. Other Information: Every computer has an IP (Internet Protocol) address. IP addresses of computers used to visit this site are noted. Information from Other Sources. We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. This may include updated delivery and address information from our shippers so that we can correct our records and deliver your next purchase more easily.
 

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

Customised Shopping. We use your information to better serve you by providing a customised shopping experience. As noted above, you may visit and shop anonymously without logging in. Agents. We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, and processing credit card payments. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. Special Offers. We may send you special offers from time to time, unless you choose to "opt-out" of receiving such offers. If we receive a lawful court order to release account or other personal information then we will comply with the law. We will also release information when necessary to protect the life, safety or property of others. This includes exchanging information with other companies for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
 

3. How Do We Protect the Security of Your Information?

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We use encryption to protect your information contained in our customer list. We limit access to your information on a "need to know" basis. We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer. No system can guarantee absolute security, just as the finest lock can not guarantee physical security. However, we take every reasonable precaution to assure that your data is secure.
 

4. Your Choice: Opt-in or Opt-out

It is your choice whether to receive emails or special offers from us and or if you wish for all of your data to be deleted or removed at any time. If you wish to not receive any emails or promotional offers from us, you may click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or you may contact support@vortexpc.com.au and we will notify you asap once your email has been removed. If you would like for us to remove/delete any or all other personal data such as your name, number, etc. please contact support@vortexpc.com.au and an Vortex PC staff member will notify you once it has been removed.
 

5. Children

We do not sell products or services to children. If you are under 18, you may use this site only with a parent or guardian.
 

6. Other Websites

Various Web sites may be linked to from this site. If you link to another site, your privacy depends on the policy of that site. We strongly urge you to check their privacy policy. Not all sites guarantee that they will not share your personally identifiable information with others. Warranty Terms and Conditions

Definition of Terms

​

Product – Refers to any hardware manufactured for or by Vortex PC bearing the "Vortex PC" trademark, trade name, or logo that is purchased directly from Vortex PC.

​

Original Purchaser - any consumer that purchases and has possession of a Product directly from Vortex PC.

​

End User - the ultimate consumer of the Product and constitutes anyone who owns and uses an Vortex PC Product.

​

Date of Original Retail Purchase - the date the Original Purchaser bought the Product from Vortex PC.

​

Scope of Warranty

​

Vortex PC WARRANTS this Vortex PC hardware Product against defects in merchandise and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) MONTHS for refurbished products and ONE (1) YEAR for new products from the Date of Original Retail Purchase, unless additional parts or labour warranties are purchased, which may extend the terms of the warranty to include the replacement or repair of parts for a total of up to the extension listed on the extended warranty purchase.

 

Vortex PC warrants the original purchaser that any part of the hardware system, excluding software, documentation and similar terms will be free of defects of both workmanship and materials for the warranty period included with the purchase.

Vortex PC warrants the original purchaser that any part of the Product, excluding software, documentation and other peripherals, will be free of defects of both workmanship and materials for the warranty period included with the purchase. The date of warranty coverage starts from the date of original retail purchase.

​

During the product's warranty period, Vortex PC will repair or replace defective hardware for defects specified and found in the Product. This will be done without any labour charge (free of charge) and the cost of parts will also be provided free of charge during the warranty period. Depending on stock and availability, Parts may not be the same but will be equivalent or better in performance.

​

Vortex PC shall, under no circumstances, be liable to provide warranty service for products that have been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse or misapplication, for example, unauthorised overclocking or undervaluing. This also applies if the Vortex PC service tag has been removed or defaced or if the product has been modified without written agreement from Vortex PC.

 

Any issues caused by voltage manipulation will not be covered under the Vortex PC warranty. Issues arising from the product not being cleaned or maintained properly are not covered under the Vortex PC warranty, this includes cleaning of radiators and fans to allow adequate airflow.

Any replacement parts will be warranted to be free of defects of workmanship and material for 3 months from time of replacement, or for the remainder of the warranty period of the Vortex PC Product it is replacing (whichever is longer).

Unauthorized repair

Vortex PC shall, under no circumstances, be liable to provide warranty service for products under warranty that have been serviced or worked on by the user or any other party other than Vortex PC unless expressly authorized in writing. Your warranty will be immediately voided if a warranty claim is made and it is discovered the product has been worked on or tampered with by another party.

Dead Pixel Policy

LCD Panels are made of millions of micro electronic pixels, if one pixel no longer functions normally, it will become a bright or dark dot. Vortex PC conforms to the industry premium standard acceptable level of between 2 to 4 defective bright/dark pixels. In order to deliver the ultimate visual experience to our customers, if your panel is less than or equal to the above number of dots, then, it is considered acceptable.

Damaged in Shipping Policy

Once you receive your item, please inspect and test it immediately. If any damage has occurred in shipping you must immediately contact the Vortex PC support team with photos of the said damage. This is so we can file a claim with our courier company and work to remedy the issue with the customer. Vortex PC will not cover any damage claims more than TWO (2) days after tracking information shows the item was successfully delivered to the customers shipping address. If you have purchased a product as a gift for someone (such as a Christmas gift) and it will not be opened for several days or weeks, it is still your responsibility to check for and report any damages upon receiving the item.

If a defect is found in a purchased Vortex PC Product, contact the Vortex PC team by email (support@vortexpc.com.au)

If the Vortex PC team is contacted through phone or email, Vortex PC will provide guidance to diagnose or solve the problem.  Where possible we try to remotely fix the problem.

​

If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone or by email we will require our technicians to physically work on the machine.  If you chose a default Return to Base Warranty the User will be responsible to either carry in the Product to our Service Centre or cover the delivery cost for getting it to and back from our Service Centre location. 

 

If you chose the Premium Extended Warranty, Vortex PC will cover the delivery cost for getting it to our Service Centre and back to the User, at no cost to the User.

​

The machine must be returned in its original packaging, including foam inside and around the PC as per how it was received originally by the customer. If the original packaging is not used, Vortex PC will not be liable for damage to the PC during transit back to our service centre and any repairs for transit damage will be at the customer's expense.

​

For such warranty claims, the following details are required - Name, Address, Contact Number, Order Number and Warranty Serial Tag. If these details are not provided, there may be an extended processing and wait time before your system is attended to.

​

Vortex PC will, at its option and to the extent permitted by law:

(1) repair the Product (using new or refurbished replacement parts);

(2) replace the Product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product; or

(3) issue a partial refund of the original purchase price of the Product, if for some reason, the Product cannot be repaired or replaced—provided you return it during the parts warranty period owned.

​

Any warranty returns must have all the original accessories and documentation present if applicable unless otherwise specified in writing from Vortex PC. Diagnosis will typically be within 1-2 business days once the item is received back to us - we will let you know the expected time frame for any repairs or replacement parts

​

VORTEX PC'S Limited Warranty Obligations

​

ITEMS SUCH AS BATTERIES, AC ADAPTERS AND EXTERNAL ACCESSORIES SHALL BE CLASSIFIED AS CONSUMABLE PARTS. THE WARRANTY PERIOD FOR BATTERIES AND AC ADAPTERS IS LIMITED TO SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.

​

In the event that Vortex PC decides to refund (the value of) or replace the product, the term of this warranty shall expire as of the time of that refund or replacement. No Vortex PC agent or employee is authorised to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VORTEX PC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF ACTUAL MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; DOWNTIME; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH VORTEX PC'S PRODUCTS, AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON VORTEX PC'S PRODUCTS.

Transferability and Availability of VORTEX PC Warranty

​

EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTIONS MUST BE PURCHASED BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF THE PURCHASE DATE OF THE PRODUCT AND MAY NOT BE PURCHASED THEREAFTER.


THIS WARRANTY COVERS THE PRODUCT AND TRANSFERS WITH THE PRODUCT BUT THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT MUST BE KEPT BY THE NEW OWNER.
 

Cancellation

​

WARRANTY EXTENSIONS MAY ONLY BE CANCELLED BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF THE PURCHASE OF THE EXTENSION, PROVIDED THAT NO WARRANTY CLAIMS HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY MADE ON THE PRODUCT.

Governing Law

​

This warranty agreement and any sales shall be governed by the laws of Australia. The courts of Australia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action at law or equity arising out of or relating to these warranty terms or the website.
